Aberdovey is classic links with a contemporary attitude. This championship course has seen a number of improvements over the years, and was the first course in Wales to use a ‘Turf Iron’.

The greens are pretty special if the glowing testimonials from visitors and members are anything to go by. Set in an area of Special Scientific Interest, you’ll be accompanied by sea spray and the sound of crashing waves. This strategic links course calls for a variety of shots and infinite creativity. You’ll need every club in the bag – and probably more than one way to play them. Especially on the 12th, a par 3 with no bail-out area that’s one of the most inspirational holes in British golf.
