If you’re thinking of treating yourself to some new clubs while you’re in the area, this is the place to come. Clays is home to one of only three Mizuno National Fitting Centres and it’s the official workshop to the PGA European Tour. It was recognised as a Centre of Excellence by the Welsh GU and has teaching facilities to rival Gleneagles.

But you won’t be visiting just for the facilities. Set in 100 acres of rolling countryside, Clays is home to two mature parkland courses. The 9-hole is perfect for novice golfers whereas the 18-hole offers something more challenging. Tight greens are a feature.
