This course’s motto is Scenic, Challenging but Forgiving. We couldn’t have said it better. With three mountains as a backdrop, coastline in front and views of the Great Orme head and Puffin Island, you couldn’t ask for better inspiration. Even though there isn’t a par 5 on the course, the slopes and elevated greens mean you’ll definitely get your exercise – and after playing the 5th you’ll think there are four feet in the Welsh yard. If in doubt, remember all greens slope towards the sea. In many ways, Penmaenmawr is a hidden treasure.
